2] Wet Hair – Every time you are out of the shower after washing your hair, let your hair dry and then comb it. When water is applied to our hair, the hydrogen bonds in our hair open up, now if we comb our hair at such a time there are chances of breakage. If one keeps on repeating this mistake their hair will become weaker and weaker than before.

One must always apply conditioner at least one inch away from the scalp. 

5] Proper Techniques while Applying Heat – Heat removes the moisture from our hair making it dry and frizzy. 

6] Use the same line of Shampoo and Conditioner – Every brand and company has their own set of formulas and has their own pH so it is always better to use the same line. 

7] Tying your hair – One must avoid tying their hair up tightly before or while going to sleep. This might lead to hair breakage.

8] Wash your hair with Cold Water – When your hair shaft comes in contact with hot water, the high temperature breaks the keratin and lipid bonds on your hair cuticles (the outermost protective layer of the hair shaft). This ruptures the cuticle layers, making them stand up. On the other hand, cold water seals the ruptured cuticle layers while restoring the keratin and lipid bonds.
