KERATIN TREATMENT AT HOME

Keratin treatment also known as semi-permanent hair spa, is used to give dry/frizzy hair, chemical treated hair a smooth, soft, shiny and healthy look. The results of which can last for 2 to 6  months. Depending on your hair and the clinic you choose Keratin can cost from Rs.4000/- to Rs.8000/- in India. Generally these treatments like straightening, smoothening, keratin are done with help of a chemical called Formaldehyde. This chemical is said to have certain side effects including stinging, itching burning eyes, nose and throat irritation, runny nose, allergic reactions, itchy skin, etc.

Home-made Keratin Protein Spa:-

Requirements/ Ingredients – 3 tbspn Boiled Rice [medium length hair], 6 tbspn Coconut Milk and  1 tbspn Coconut or Olive oil. Grind all the ingredients into a creamy mixture.

Apply this paste to washed and dried hair [try to use sulphate free shampoo while washing]. It can be applied to the hair as well as the scalp. Tie your hair or wear a shower cap and wash after 45 minutes or 1 hour.
