Immune Boosting Ayurvedic Meditation

AYURVEDIC MEDITATION FOR NATURAL GLOW, STRESS AND SOUND SLEEP |

We humans never fail to take care of our machines like our bikes, cars or home appliances. We periodically service them from time to time. Do we even notice that we ourselves work like machines everyday but do we service our body after so much exertion? Now this servicing of the body can be done by Authentic Ayurvedic and Panchakarma procedures. This meditation is an add- on treatment advised for both healthy as well as diseased individuals. It brings a natural glow on our face in the first 30 minutes or by the next morning. It also increases our strength, gives freshness, is immune boosting and helps in inducing sound sleep and keeping our mind cool and calm. For many psychosomatic illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar schizophrenia, OCD, psychosis, anxiety, depression and anxiety neurosis, this meditation has excellent results when given along with the main line of treatment.

The four treatments for Shiro Rog (diseases of the head) are beautifully explained in ayurveda. One of them is Shiro Pichu. Now we will modify this treatment in such a way that even a person having a modern way of living or having a busy and hectic lifestyle can easily do it. So this will be a bit different than that explained in the ancient classical texts, hence we are going to call it Sthanik Pichu. Sthanik means localized and pichu means a cotton ball.

WHY DO WE DO THIS TREATMENT?

Ayurveda considers the human body as an inverted tree, the tree has its roots at the bottom and the human has its roots at the top and the branches are pointing downwards. An Ayurvedic doctor constantly tells you such tips through which you are watering or nourishing these roots, leading to great results.

HOW DO WE DO THIS TREATMENT?

Step 1 – Play simple, calm and soothing music on your phone or any other convenient device.

Step 2- Take a cotton ball and dip it in buttermilk so that it is neither too dry nor too wet.

Step 3 – Lie down and place this cotton ball right in the center of your forehead where your eyebrows are joining.

When we place the cotton ball in the center of our forehead it stimulates the Pituitary gland. The cotton ball is to be kept for about 30 minutes and you need to be focusing on the music. Give your full attention to the music and do not hold on to any other thoughts. This can be done twice in a day, early in the morning and before you go to bed. For best results keep it overnight and to make sure it stays in place you can either use a headband or stick it using a sellotape. One can also use Yashtimadhu taila (oil) or Ghrita, it is a medicine which is easily available in the market. For many children having ADHD, bad memory or those who are very much active, this gives excellent results along with other medhya dravyas like guduchi, saraswat arishtam, shankhpushpi, etc. This treatment is suitable for all age groups and does not have any side effects.
